Mr. Putin reveals portrait of the next generation of leaders in Russia

Russian President Vladimir Putin affirmed that future leadership positions must belong to those who are not afraid and ready to sacrifice to serve the Fatherland.

On September 18, during a meeting with leaders of party groups in the Russian parliament in Novo-Ogaryovo, President Vladimir Putin emphasized that key leadership positions in Russia in the future should be assigned to " brave, steadfast and fearless people in serving the Fatherland".

This statement was made in the context of party groups discussing the participation of veterans fighting in Ukraine in the election. Mr. Putin stated: "We must search, discover and nominate people who are willing to risk their health and lives to serve the Fatherland. Those are the people who deserve to be given the leadership responsibility. They will be our next generation".

Mr. Putin also affirmed that many veterans have participated in local and central political organizations, including the National Duma and federal agencies. According to him, their presence will bring a new flow of strength, starting from practical experience and absolute loyalty to Russia.

In recent years, Russia has increasingly emphasized the role of veterans of military operations in Ukraine in political life. They are not only considered a symbol of patriotism, but are also expected to contribute to strengthening the legitimateness of the leadership apparatus. Some observers believe that including veterans in the political arena will help the Russian leader create an heritage army associated with the national security strategy.

I believe that veterans will actively contribute to the activities of the parties, both at the local and national levels. These are people who understand the value of sacrifice and a sense of responsibility," Putin said.

Observers say this is one of the clearest signals of how Mr. Putin envisions the next generation of Russian leaders: Politicalticaltical spirit, ready to put the interests of the state above all.
