11 people died when a civilian plane, believed to be carrying a group of paratroopers, crashed in eastern France.
The incident occurred on June 28 at an airport near the town of Tomblaine in northeastern France, the cause of the plane crash is currently unknown. AFP said all 11 people on board were killed.
Local media reported that the pilot was experienced, the plane was then carrying a group of 5 parachute passengers and 5 tour guides.
The French prosecutor's office, police and health authorities are scheduled to hold a press conference today to provide more information and identities of the victims.
