In order to anticipate the Tet shopping wave, brands launch limited edition products from headphones, clothes, shoes to watches and interior decorations.
Major shoe brands such as Nike and Converse are leading names. Nike recently introduced the Nike Dunk Low SE "CNY" shoe model, with heels decorated with winged horse images combined with auspicious cloud patterns, symbolizing good luck and a favorable start to the Year of the Horse. Converse also launched the "Taking Flight" shoe line.
Belgian chocolate brand Godiva turns the wish "smooth sailing, continued good luck" into sophisticated horse-shaped chocolate boxes, aimed at Tet gift needs.
US technology giant Apple also launched the limited edition AirPods Pro 3 on the occasion of the Year of the Horse, with a horse symbol carved on the front of the charger. According to Apple China website, the product is sold in mainland China and some other markets.
Swedish furniture group IKEA continues to maintain the tradition of launching Tet collections for the fifth consecutive year. About 25 new products for the Year of the Horse have been launched for sale from December 2025 in mainland China.
Meanwhile, Swiss watch brand Vacheron Constantin is releasing 25 watches from the MÉTIERS D'ART collection "The Legend of the Chinese Zodiac - Year of the Horse". The dial depicts the image of a horse jumping over a rock, showing vitality and power.
