According to the latest information from the Vietnamese Embassy in Israel, as of the morning of June 14, no serious damage to Vietnamese people in Israel has been recorded after Iran's ballistic missile retaliation attacks on Israel.
A representative of the Vietnamese Embassy said that the majority of Vietnamese people are still living normally, mentally stable and have no casualties.
However, the family of a Vietnamese woman whose Israeli husband is in Ramat Gan, near Tel Aviv, was slightly affected by the pressure from the explosion that caused all the windows and doors to break.
The Vietnamese Embassy in Israel is continuing to closely monitor the situation, ready to support citizens in case of emergency. The Embassy also noted that the Vietnamese community closely monitors updated announcements from the Home Front Command and is always ready to take shelter when there are warning signals.
In the face of escalating tensions between Israel and Iran, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs recommends that Vietnamese citizens not travel to Israel and Iran unless absolutely necessary.
During the current period, Vietnamese citizens living, studying and working in Israel and Iran need to comply with regulations and instructions on security and safety protection measures of local authorities; regularly maintain contact and closely monitor warnings from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Vietnamese representative agencies in Israel and Iran; prepare plans to evacuate people and property to third countries or to Vietnam.
In case of urgent need for support, Vietnamese citizens are requested to contact the citizen protection hotline numbers of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Vietnamese embassies in Israel and Iran:
