Sputnik reported that the exhibition "Vietnam: The Road to Independence, Justice and Prosperity" was held within the framework of the EEF.
The authors pay special attention to the materials on the State visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to Vietnam on June 19-20, 2024. The exhibition booth displays images of the visit, including talks between the leaders of the two countries, a concert at the Hanoi Opera House and a wreath-laying ceremony at the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum.
“The visit demonstrates the deep affection between the two countries and peoples. The similarity in foreign policy views of the two countries has been confirmed, opening up the possibility of close cooperation in the upcoming historical process,” said information from the exhibition booth organized by the Russian Historical Society.
Also according to Sputnik, the Russia-Vietnam International Scientific and Practical Conference took place within the framework of the EEF 2024. This event was organized to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries in 2025.
This year's EEF attracted more than 6,000 delegates from 76 countries and territories with the main theme "Far East 2030 - Connecting Strengths, Creating New Potentials".
According to TASS, delegates attending the Forum will discuss promising new cooperation formats in the Asia-Pacific region in various fields, from transport and energy to the environment and tourism.
The EEF's approximately 100 main activities are divided into seven thematic blocks: "New contours of international cooperation", "Technologies ensuring independence", "Financial value system", "Russian Far East", "People, education and patriotism", "Transport and logistics: new routes" and "Master planning: from architecture to economy".
The issues planned to be discussed at the Forum are driven by the exponential growth of the Far East and the growing need for transport capacity, electricity and manpower, Minister of the Far East and Arctic Development Alexey Chekunkov told TASS.
In addition, the delegates will discuss the expansion of BRICS and its growing role in the context of global stability, issues of bringing skilled personnel to Russia, the digital economy and other topics of international cooperation.
Delegates will discuss the prospects of auxiliary technologies, digital security, shipbuilding and cooperation in the industrial and energy sectors, growth points of the construction industry and the integrated shaping of the appearance of cities.
Aspects of improving the mechanism for managing intellectual property results, stimulating the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises and the characteristics of international commercial arbitration in the Asia-Pacific region are among the main issues of the theme "Financial Value System". Investment in science, higher education and health care will be addressed under the theme "People, Education and Patriotism".
The forum will also discuss government support programs and preferential regimes in the Far Eastern regions. The topic "Transport and Logistics: New Routes" will cover the redistribution of logistics flows, new digital solutions in this area, and the development of the Northern Sea Route and Far Eastern aviation.
