In the tournament held last August, 5 weight classes competed in the quarter-finals: Cobra (55kg), Golden Rooster (57kg), Eagle (59kg), Black Panther (63kg) and Tiger (68kg) with dramatic, fiery but also very humane and artistic matches.
This event is also considered a turning point, marking the improvement of the level of competition of Vietnamese fighters when approaching the professional MMA competition format. This is highly appreciated by experts and has been warmly welcomed by the audience after the successful GMA quarter-final event.
In the semi-finals, the organizing committee has determined 5 attractive matches including: Pham Ngoc Canh meets Le Huy Hoang in the Cobra category (55kg); Tran Kiet meets Luu Duc Manh in the Golden Rooster category (57kg); Tran Minh Nhut meets Mui Trong Vinh in the Eagle category (59kg); Le Thanh Trung meets Nguyen Tien Long in the Black Panther category (63kg) and Vu Hai meets Nguyen Trung Hai in the Tiger category (68kg).

According to martial artist Johnny Tri Nguyen, after bringing "Vietnam Martial God" to create a buzz among martial arts lovers in Vietnam, he and his colleagues will soon have plans to develop GMA to expand to the international market, cooperating with units such as The Grand Ho Tram, vFilms as well as investment funds to achieve this goal.
