According to Dam Vinh Hung's oath (send to the Supreme Court of California, USA on June 23), the male singer revealed many new details. Among them, he met singer Bich Tuyen and her husband to discuss the lawsuit and was psychologically manipulated.
Accordingly, the male singer introduced himself: "I am a famous entertainer and known by many people in the Vietnamese community in 9 countries...". He talked about his relationship with Bich Tuyen and her husband: "Before I was injured, I was very close to Gerard Richard Williams III and Bich Tuyen."
After the accident at Bich Tuyen's house and the loss of 4 toes, the male singer initially hired Wilshire Law Firm ("WLF") to resolve his complaint against the defendant Bich Tuyen and her husband.
Dam Vinh Hung revealed that last year, after he filed the lawsuit, Bich Tuyen and a few of her close friends invited him to dinner at their house in Newport Beach, California.
"I told them that I was not comfortable meeting them because of the lawsuit, but they still pushed. Instead of having dinner at their house, we decided to meet at a restaurant near their house.
When I arrived at the restaurant, they continued to urge me to return to their house to discuss the lawsuit. I expressed my fear but they still pushed me to their house. I gave up and went to their house that day," the singer recalled.
Singer Dam Vinh Hung added that at Bich Tuyen's house, the singer and her group of friends urged him to resolve the lawsuit.
He said that he had informed them that he would be interested in resolving the issue (ie the lawsuit) but needed to be compensated for serious injuries that changed his life.
However, the male singer said that after he shared, Bich Tuyen and her husband gave him many threats, including threats that they would report him to the Tax Department, the Department of Migration, and expand social media campaigns to harm his reputation.
"They threatened my mother and son. Based on their threats, I was very scared for my life, my family and my career," he said.
The singer also said that Bich Tuyen and her husband intentionally deceived and manipulated their psychology to escape the lawsuit without having to compensate or negotiate.
Therefore, he suggested that the Court reject the defendant's request (ie Bich Tuyen and her husband) and continue the lawsuit to be able to protect their legal rights.
The reporter is currently in contact with singer Bich Tuyen but she has not responded to this incident.
According to information from the website of the California Supreme Court, the US will hold a first-instance trial on July 7. On September 22, the court continued to open the official hearing.
