Martial arts events Grand Strikeforce Vol 1: Full Impact will have 2 subjects, Kickboxing and Muay Thai.
This event is organized by Cocky Buffalo - a martial arts training company and professional martial arts event organizer in Vietnam, in collaboration with the Vietnam Kickboxing Federation and the Department of Culture and Sports of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province.
Grand Strikeforce Vol 1: Full Impact will have 8 matches, bringing together 16 fighters from countries and territories with famous martial arts such as: Thailand, Australia, Korea, China, Taiwan (China), Hong Kong (China), Japan and Vietnam. Of which, there are 3 fighters from the host country competing in this event.
The most exciting match was the 67kg match between Nguyen Doan Long and Deren Chen. Doan Long is one of the prominent names in Muay Thai in Vietnam. He made an impression with the 2018 world runner-up title and 2 silver medals at the 30th and 31st SEA Games. Meanwhile, Deren Chen, who is of Australian and Chinese descent, has had 21 wins in 30 professional matches.
Vietnam's Kickboxing talent Kieu Duy Quan (2 wins in all matches) will have a very dramatic confrontation with Taiwanese boxer Ping Yun Deng (12 wins, 6 losses, 4 wins by KO) in the 75kg weight class.
The remaining Vietnamese representative is Hoang Dinh Manh, an 18-year-old talent who won the silver medal at the 2024 U23 Muay World Championships, who will compete with 20-year-old Australian boxer Dassakorn Saton (4 wins in a row) in the 65kg weight class.
In the highlight match, famous Thai boxer Saksurin, who has 175 wins in 232 professional matches, will face tough Australian opponent Louis Abbot (15 wins, 6 losses) in the 82kg weight class.
In the only women’s match of the event, the famous Japanese Shootboxing “warrior” Nakamura Akari (20 wins, 12 losses) promises to deliver an exciting match in her first attempt at Muay Thai. She will face Jane Koo (Australia, 3 wins).
In other exciting matches, veteran boxers Kim Taekyung (Korea) and Hong Yangwu (China) will face off in the 57kg category. Woo Seung Min (Korea) will face Wong Chiu Wai of Hong Kong (China) in the 71kg category. Lee Sang Min (Korea) will face Balihenbeike (China) in the 65kg category.
Besides the intense and eye-catching matches, the audience can immerse themselves in a real martial arts "party" combined with modern sound and light and special performances by famous singers from home and abroad.
