On the evening of August 10, the Vietnam women's volleyball team defeated Thailand with a close score of 3-2 to win the championship of the second phase of the 2025 SEA V.League. This is also the first time Vietnam has won the Southeast Asian championship.
Meanwhile, this defeat only left Thailand as runners-up. That is also a sadness for the Thais even though they have played with the strongest squad.

The third place overall belongs to the Philippine women's team when this team beat Indonesia 3-0 in the final match, which means the team from the archipelago is ranked 4th.
In addition to the collective awards, the organizing committee also presented individual awards to outstanding athletes.
Accordingly, with an impressive performance throughout the tournament, Nguyen Thi Bich Tuyen was honored in two categories: "Best Opposite Setter" and "Best Comprehensive Athlete". The female player born in 2000 scored the most points for the Vietnam women's team in the decisive match.
In addition, Vi Thi Nhu Quynh was also awarded the "Best Striker" award, along with opponent Chatchu-on Moksri of the Thai women's team.
Another athlete of the Vietnam women's team, Tran Thi Bich Thuy, received the "Best Middle Blocker" award. This award was also given to Wimonrat Thanapan from the team from the land of the Golden Temple.
The "Best Libero" award went to Jazareno (Philippines) and Pornpun (Thailand) for the title of "Best Setter".
