Bich Tuyen, Bich Thuy missed their appointment with Korea
On April 11, the Korea Volleyball Federation (KOVO) announced the results of the try-out (testing) of foreign players in Asia for the 2025-2026 national championship. Two Vietnamese athletes, Nguyen Thi Bich Tuyen and Tran Thi Bich Thuy, both submitted applications but were not selected by any team.
This is a rather unfortunate result when Bich Thuy was chosen by GS Caltex Seoul Kixx last season.
The 7 chosen names include Stefanie Weiler (Australia), Thanacha Soksood (Thailand), Alissa Kinkela (Australia), Queen Tokoku (Japan), Anilise Fitzi (New Zealand), Jasuteisu Yauchi (Japan) and Wipawee Srithong (Thailand).

Men's volleyball team gathers
On April 11, the Vietnam men's volleyball team gathered for the first training session of 2025. The whole team gathered at the training area of the National Defense Sports Training Center 3 (Ministry of National Defense) in Da Nang.
Some athletes are on the list but are competing in the 2025 National A-Class Volleyball Tournament in Kon Tum. They will join the Vietnam men's volleyball team late.
The team's first international mission is the 2025 Asian Men's Club Championship (from May 11 to 18 in Japan). In June, the Vietnam men's volleyball team will participate in the AVC Challenge Cup 2025.
Fans cheer on Tu Linh
Recently, the Vietnam women's volleyball team announced the list of 24 members for the first training session of 2025. Unfortunately, the main striker Tu Linh is absent due to injury.
Not having the most physical strength, Tu Linh could not maintain her original form in the Duc Giang Chemical shirt in the first phase of the 2025 national championship. She is expected to be absent from the AVC Nation Cup, FIVB World Championship, SEA V.League or even the SEA Games in 2025.
Many fans left comments to encourage the main striker born in 1999, wishing her a quick recovery and a return to the field.
