Recently, the schedule for round 2 of the 2024 SEA V.League volleyball tournament was announced. According to the schedule, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team will meet Indonesia (August 9), Philippines (August 10) and Thailand (August 11).
This year's SEA V.League volleyball tournament kicks off in August 2024 for women's teams. Round 1 takes place in Vinh Phuc (Vietnam) from August 2 to 4, while round 2 takes place in Thailand from August 9 to 11.
Thai women's volleyball won the SEA V.League stages in 2019, 2022 and 2023. The Vietnamese women's volleyball team finished second 3 times in 1 stage in 2022 and 2023.

Before the 2024 SEA V.League, Thai volleyball star Thatdao Nuekjang praised the Vietnamese women's volleyball team.
"The performance of the Vietnamese women's volleyball team is getting better and better. Therefore, we have to prepare carefully to compete with them and defend the championship. But I think it will be more difficult than before.
