Teams looking for foreign players for phase II
Phase II of the 2024 National Volleyball Championship will take place from November 9 to November 17 (women's competition) and from November 23 to December 1 (men's competition). Currently, none of the 9 men's and 9 women's teams have announced that they have foreign players for this phase. All teams are in the process of looking for suitable people to hire to strengthen their squad.
The common problem that the men's and women's volleyball teams in Vietnam are facing is that they cannot find many reputable agencies to introduce players to choose from. All are struggling to rely on acquaintances to act as a bridge to find foreign players.
This year, teams are having trouble hiring suitable foreign players from Chinese volleyball because this national volleyball championship takes place at the same time as the second phase of the 2024 national championship in Vietnam. Meanwhile, Thai players also have many options, so they consider carefully before invitations from Vietnam.
