The Border Guard men’s team is currently the defending champion of the national volleyball championship. This title has created a significant morale boost for the military team because they had to wait 13 years to repeat the above result.
According to the coaching staff, the Border Guard men's team is actively ensuring the best player expertise of the current squad. They will not have any additional domestic players from other teams except for borrowing striker Truong The Khai from Ho Chi Minh City Volleyball to strengthen.

Vietnamese striker leaves mark abroad
In the 2025 season, three Vietnamese men's volleyball players, middle blocker Che Quoc Vo Lit, setter Doan Trung Hieu and main blocker Nguyen Anh Hong Hoang, played for the Takeo Provincial Police Club in the Cambodian national championship.
Recently, in the match between Takeo Provincial Police and Pursat Provincial Police, striker Nguyen Anh Hong Hoang had a brilliant performance when he scored 20 points (15 attacking points, 2 blocking points and 3 direct serving situations).
The main striker of the Ho Chi Minh City men's team was the one who contributed the most to helping Takeo Provincial Police win a dramatic 3-2 victory, thereby nurturing the hope of passing the first stage of the Cambodian national championship.
This is the first time a Vietnamese male volleyball player has been honored as the best player of the match while playing abroad.
