Kim Hue shows her skills
Before the quarter-final matches of the VTV Cup 2024, former player Pham Thi Kim Hue took the opportunity to demonstrate “a few basic strokes”. In the smashes and passes back and forth with another former player, Bui Vu Thanh Tuyen, the former volleyball beauty queen still showed the smooth skills that helped her become one of the best female volleyball players in Vietnam.
However, in a post on her personal Facebook page, Kim Hue wrote: “I’m getting old, so I’m going to switch to volleyball!” But what was more surprising were some rather humorous comments. “A golfer wearing a pickleball shirt plays airball,” one person wrote, citing the fact that Kim Hue was wearing a shirt with many rackets and pickleballs printed on it.
Thu Hoai shares her views on love
On her personal Facebook page, Nguyen Thu Hoai posted a story and expressed her views on love through each stage. The setter born in 1998 wrote: “I’m 20: I need a passionate love. I’m 28: I feel that companionship and understanding each other are more important.”
Thu Hoai once shared this opinion with Lao Dong: "My heart has warmed up recently. My boyfriend is the same age and from the same hometown as me, Thai Binh. He is a civil servant, sincere, emotional and masculine. Although he is not an athlete, he loves sports so we have many things in common.
We are still getting to know each other, experiencing the relationship and everything is still progressing very well. My boyfriend works in the countryside but will come to Hanoi on weekends. I am lucky to have him always accompany me on this journey. I hope we will have many experiences to improve ourselves and continue to accompany each other."
Coach Tuan Kiet plays ghost volleyball with his students
A video clip before a match of the Vietnamese volleyball team at VTV Cup 2024 shows coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet and his students playing ghost volleyball - similar to ghost kicking in football.
Although strict with his students during training and instruction, when playing with them, coach Tuan Kiet is very cheerful, even "goofy" and "weird" with 2-beat moves, fooling "ghosts" in difficult situations. He even... headed the ball and then smiled brightly.
