On June 8, in Hanoi, Hanoi T&T Sports Joint Stock Company held a ceremony to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the establishment of Hanoi Club (2006-2026) and receive the Second-class Labor Medal.
The noble award of the Party and State recognizes the contributions of the Capital team to the development of Vietnamese football over the past 2 decades.
Previously, Hanoi FC received the Third-class Labor Medal in 2018.


From a team named Hanoi T&T playing in the Third Division in 2006, the club created a special development journey with the miracle of 3 consecutive seasons advancing 3 leagues. Only 4 years after its establishment, they won the V.League 2010 championship, ending 26 years of waiting for national titles for Hanoi football.

Mr. Do Vinh Quang - Chairman of Hanoi Club shared: "In the following years, Hanoi FC is determined to move closer to the standards of continental football, and at the same time continue to strongly innovate to meet the increasing requirements of modern football. We will constantly improve management, promote the application of science and technology, sports medicine, and invest more methodically in the youth training system and school football development.
But above all, Hanoi FC will continue to be steadfast in the values that have made its identity over the past 20 years: dedication, desire for victory, professionalism and belief in the strength of generations of players trained from the Hanoi FC home.
Two decades of development have also witnessed Hanoi FC building the position of one of the most successful teams in the professional period. The team currently owns 6 V.League championships, 3 National Cups and 5 National Super Cups, and has also left its mark in continental playgrounds.
Besides playing achievements, Hanoi FC is also considered one of the leading players training centers in the country. Many national team players who grew up from the team such as Duong Hong Son, Pham Thanh Luong, Nguyen Van Quyet, Do Duy Manh, Nguyen Quang Hai, Do Hung Dung or Doan Van Hau have contributed to important milestones of Vietnamese football in regional and continental arenas.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Tran Quoc Tuan - Chairman of the Vietnam Football Federation assessed: "In the 20-year journey, with professionalism, methodicalness and unceasing aspiration, Hanoi Club has brought a dedicated, rich in identity playing style, stable and sustainable development, promoting Vietnamese football to become increasingly attractive, competitive, and affirming its position on the regional and international sports map".
He also affirmed that the development of Vietnamese football in the past 20 years has been deeply imprinted by generations of players, coaches and experts from the Capital team.

In addition, T&T Group rewarded 1 billion VND to U17 Hanoi members who contributed to the feat of winning tickets to the 2026 U17 World Cup.
Also at the ceremony, Hanoi Club announced the typical squad for the period 2006-2026 with faces who have made the identity and success of the team throughout two decades.
