On the afternoon of March 2, GS Caltex club - the team where middle blocker Tran Thi Bich Thuy won 3-1 against Hyundai E&C Hillstate in round 6 of the 2024-2025 Korean National Volleyball Championship. The Vietnamese hitter won the title of "Best Player of the Match" with 9 points, achieving an efficiency of 87.5%.
In this match, many Vietnamese and Korean fans could not control the rain, wind, and cold weather to go to Suwon Stadium to cheer for Bich Thuy and her teammates.
Talking with Lao Dong, Mr. V.T. Cuong - a Vietnamese fan living and working in Korea said: "I am in the Southern region while most volleyball clubs in Korea are in the North. It took me 3-4 hours to travel from where I was to where Thuy played, so I could only go and watch Thuy play 2 matches. But fortunately, those were both wins.
For the first time, I went with an acquaintance in a private group. This time I went alone but met some fans who also came to watch Thuy and her teammates compete. Although it rained heavily today, I still decided to go see and give Thuy some gifts.
There is one thing I feel very happy about. That is, in the first match I went to see, only Vietnamese fans asked to take photos and interact with Bich Thuy. But now, there are many Korean fans who love and want to take pictures with this player."

This fan said that he felt that Bich Thuy's attack was quite stable but her weakness was blocking the ball. However, the Ba Vi-born middle blocker has made great progress when wearing the GS Caltex shirt.
"I find Thuy's trip to Korea this time a very valuable experience. The title of "Best Player of the Match" today clearly demonstrated Thuy's progress.
Few people know that the head coach of the GS Caltex team started out as a middle blocker. He is the one who trained one of Korea's top blockers today (athlete Jung Ho-young). Therefore, this trip abroad is clearly a good medicine for Thuy to improve her weakness in blocking the ball," said Mr. V.T. Cuong shared.
