On the afternoon of March 2, GS Caltex club - the team that middle blocker Tran Thi Bich Thuy is playing for against Hyundai E&C Hillstate in round 6 of the 2024-2025 Korean National Volleyball Championship.
Coach Lee Young-taek's team played impressively and won the final match with a score of 3-1 (25-20, 27-29, 25-22, 25-21). In the recent match, Bich Thuy scored 9 points (7 attack points, 2 blocks, achieving an efficiency of 87.5%). She received the MVP (Best Player of the Match) award for her excellent performance.

Speaking after the match, Bich Thuy said: "My emotions are hard to describe when I and the club have achieved the goal of cutting the losing streak at Suwon Stadium. In the recent matches, I also felt a little regret because we almost won some matches but in the end we still did not have the desired results.
The opportunity to attack to get points will be for those that the setter feels confident in. I think I'm fine with my attack today. I know people say I am the luck of GS Caltex. I also felt like that."
This middle blocker expressed her happiness when a TV station in Vietnam broadcast the matches she played in as well as fans who came to the gymnasium in Korea to cheer her and her teammates.
"Thank you for always following me. Vietnamese fans in Korea also did not mind the cold weather to the stadium to cheer for GS Caltex. I also want to thank the coaching staff for helping me progress quickly, my teammates for helping me have good passes and support so I can get the title today", Bich Thuy expressed.
In the most recent time GS Caltex faced Hyundai E&C Hillstate on February 18, Bich Thuy and her teammates won with a score of 3-2. In that match, the Vietnamese hitter scored 7 points, achieving an efficiency of 42.9%.
Bich Thuy started playing for GS Caltex from January 7, 2025 and has now played 14 matches for the Korean team.
Before the Vietnamese middle blocker joined, this team only won 1 match in the Korean national championship in the 2024-2025 season. After the service of Bich Thuy, coach Lee Young-taek's team played well, winning 8 out of 14 matches in which Vietnam's middle blockers participated.
