The coaching staff of the Ho Chi Minh City women's volleyball team has made a preliminary list of forces to compete in the 2026 National League A and Dang Thi Kim Thanh is one of the key players.
This year, Dang Thi Kim Thanh officially signed a contract with the Ho Chi Minh City team after leaving the VTV Binh Dien Long An team. Head coach Tran Hien and Ho Chi Minh City players trusted Kim Thanh to assign the responsibility of captain.

The team will participate in the group stage of the National League A 2026 in Dien Bien from May 16 to May 30.
Kim Thanh is a player who can play well in the middle block and opposite block positions. Last year, she participated in the Vietnamese women's volleyball team that won the silver medal at SEA Games 33 in Thailand.

Due to having to compete in Dien Bien, Kim Thanh will not attend the VTV9 - Binh Dien 2026 Cup with the VTV Binh Dien Long An team in Tay Ninh from May 15 to May 23.
