On the afternoon of May 4, the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front held a press conference to inform and introduce the 11th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2026-2031.

Ms. Ha Thi Nga, Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President - Secretary General of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) chaired the press conference.

Speaking at the press conference, Vice President - Secretary General Ha Thi Nga affirmed that the 11th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2026 - 2031, is of great significance, aiming to concretize the Party's new guidelines, policies, and viewpoints on the activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations, and mass organizations assigned tasks by the Party and State. These contents have been concretized in the documents of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress, specifically in the goals, tasks, action programs and breakthroughs of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

Mentioning personnel work in the new term, Vice Chairman - Secretary General of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Ha Thi Nga clearly stated that although the number of Committee members of the XI term is not expected to increase compared to the X term, the composition structure has a very significant shift.

The core new point lies in the strong increase in the number of typical experts, intellectuals and individuals in economic sectors.

Specifically, the number of intellectuals, intellectuals and experts in the fields of science and technology, law, education, health... is expected to increase by 21 people.

For the first time, the Vietnam Fatherland Front focused on expanding the presence of representatives from economic groups and private enterprises directly involved in production in key areas.

This adjustment is not only aimed at enhancing important contributions in early and remote social supervision and criticism, but also helps the Front grasp the actual movement of the economy, thereby protecting the legitimate rights of the people more effectively in the new context.

In addition, democracy and diversity are also affirmed through the expected rate of non-Party members participating in the Committee reaching over 50% - a testament to the fact that the Front is always an open "common home" for all classes of people.

Regarding the operating results of socio-political organizations and mass organizations assigned tasks by the Party and State when they came under the Vietnam Fatherland Front in the past time, Ms. Ha Thi Nga affirmed that the activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front have become more effective and comprehensive.

Vice President - General Secretary Ha Thi Nga emphasized that the new model has created a "test" of resounding success through major events such as the A80 event. Never before has the Fatherland Front bloc participated in A80 with such enthusiasm, quality and effectiveness. This has spread strongly in the masses and the Vietnamese community abroad.

Along with that is the success of the 16th National Assembly election and historical disaster response activities. When member organizations operate together under the unified coordination of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the ability to mobilize resources has increased many times over.

A typical example is the Cuban people's support movement, from the initial expectation of 65 billion VND, more than 600 billion VND has been mobilized thanks to the joint efforts of the entire system. Or in natural disasters and storms, this model allows "four on-the-spot" coordination to take place quickly, bringing thousands of billions of VND to the people in a timely manner, which without this unity, a specialized Front agency with thin personnel could hardly handle.

Besides the innovation in personnel and organizational structure, Vice President - Secretary General Ha Thi Nga said that the 11th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front also has breakthrough new points in the content of the Document, which was built with the mindset of "action instead of slogan".

This draft Political Report not only inherits the superior values but also focuses on concretizing the spirit of the Party's Resolutions, affirming the greater position of the Front in building interaction and partnerships with member organizations.

The clear difference compared to previous terms is that instead of waiting after the Congress to develop a plan, this term the draft plan to implement the Resolution has been developed in parallel with more than 100 specific tasks and solutions, clearly assigning responsibilities and implementation roadmaps," Vice Chairman - Secretary General Ha Thi Nga informed.

Along with that, Ms. Ha Thi Nga said that, in particular, the motto "3 easy, 3 clear, 3 measures" (Easy to understand - Easy to remember - Easy to do; Clear goals - Clear responsibilities - Clear time; Measure input - Measure output - Measure impact) is thoroughly applied to more than 30 tasks directly related to the grassroots level. This is a drastic step to improve the quality of supervision and social criticism right from the policy-making stage and building a team of professional Front officials, meeting the people's expectations for a substantive and effective action organization in the new era.

Vice President - Secretary General Ha Thi Nga wished that in the coming time, press and media agencies would closely follow the situation and developments of the 11th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2026-2031, reflecting comprehensively, truthfully, objectively, fully and most comprehensively on activities before, during and after the Congress.

Especially the core issue, the new and creative points in this Congress, contributing the voice of the media agencies in promoting and promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc; spreading and contributing to orienting public opinion in the best way so that the 11th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front is not only an event of the Front but truly an event of the entire people.
