Vietnam Athletics sends 10 athletes to train in China

The Vietnamese athletics team has sent 10 athletes to start training in Nam Ninh city (China) to prepare for the 33rd SEA Games.

The coaching staff of the Vietnam Athletics Team said that the training session will last nearly 3 weeks to help the athletes accumulate more physical strength to be ready for the 33rd SEA Games competition.

10 athletes from the training groups have been in Nam Ninh City (China) and have been training since October 26.

In the training list in China, the Vietnam Athletics Team has the participation of the 32nd SEA Games women's 800m champion Nguyen Thi Thu Ha.

Coach Ho Thi Tu Tam also participated in this training session to train Nguyen Thi Thu Ha. In the above content group, there is also player Bui Thi Ngan.

Currently, Thu Ha is maintaining a stable performance and aiming to achieve the highest achievement at the 33rd SEA Games. At the 32nd SEA Games, Thu Ha participated for the first time but won the gold medal in the 800m event with a result of 2 minutes 08 seconds 55.

At the 2025 National Championship in August this year in Da Nang, Nguyen Thi Thu Ha also won the gold medal in the women's 800m event.

According to the plan, the players will train until mid-November 2025 and then return home to maintain their physical strength before going to Thailand. One of the goals set by the coaching staff for the 10 players training in China this time is to achieve the best form drop points in December.
