Vietnam women's 4x400m relay athletics team ends training in France

The members of the Vietnam women's 4x400m relay athletics team have completed their training in France and returned home to continue their professional training.

Members of the Vietnam women's 4x400m relay athletics team have returned home. The training program in France started on October 1, lasting for 3 weeks.

The faces that have trained in France include coach Nguyen Thi Bac, athletes Nguyen Thi Hang, Le Thi Tuyet Mai, Hoang Thi Minh Hanh and Nguyen Thi Ngoc.

In this training session, player Quach Thi Lan did not participate. Therefore, the coaching staff has sent a young face Le Thi Tuyet Mai to replace her. This is the first time the Vietnam Athletics Team has had a training event in France.

The training program in France was recently implemented under the signing of the Vietnam - France Friendship Association and the Francophone Community Sports Association on cooperation in the field of sports with the Vietnam Department of Physical Education and Sports.

The Vietnam women's 4x400m relay team won the silver medal at the 2025 Asian Athletics Championship with a time of 3 minutes 34 seconds 77. At the 32nd SEA Games in 2023 in Cambodia, the Vietnamese women's 4x400m relay team won the gold medal with a result of 3 minutes 33 seconds 050.

The coaching staff of the Vietnam Athletics Team and the leaders of the Vietnam Department of Physical Education and Sports sent the women's 4x400m relay team to train in France to ensure their expertise in order to defend the No. 1 position at the 33rd SEA Games.

Currently, the athletes have returned to practice at the National High-end Athletes Training Center (Hanoi) since October 24.
