In the morning, the whole team goes to the gym to improve physical strength and strength. In the afternoon, the coaching staff deploys tactical exercises with appropriate intensity in the final stage of the training session. The content focuses on coordination plans for defense, attack and sparring on 2/3 of the field area to improve the playing style.

Notably, center-back Do Duy Manh has returned to training with the ball after a period of only recovering training under the supervision of the medical team. This player suffered an injury before the team gathered and is actively regaining his fitness to soon play with his teammates.
A day earlier, Vice President of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) Tran Anh Tu was present in Incheon to inspect training work and work with functional departments to ensure the best conditions for the team. According to the assignment of the Standing Committee of the VFF Executive Committee, Mr. Tran Anh Tu continues to hold the position of Head of the Vietnamese national team delegation at the ASEAN Cup 2026.

Sharing before the training session, striker Nguyen Dinh Bac said that after nearly three weeks of gathering, the team is gradually improving both professionally and the cohesion between positions.
Through two practice matches in Korea, the coaching staff and players are striving to improve both defense and attack, and at the same time help positions understand each other better to have the best preparation for the upcoming tournament," Dinh Bac said.
The striker born in 2004 also assesses competition in attack as a motivation for players to strive to assert themselves. According to him, every position is fairly competitive and each individual must always be ready when given the opportunity.

Commenting on the practice match with Gangwon FC, Dinh Bac said that this will be an important test before the team returns home. He affirmed that the whole team will continue to improve tactical requirements to aim for a friendly match with Myanmar as well as the goal of defending the ASEAN Cup 2026 championship.
According to the plan, the Vietnamese national team will meet Gangwon FC on July 13 before ending the training trip in Korea. After that, coach Kim Sang-sik and his team will return home to prepare for the international friendly match against Myanmar at Thai Nguyen Stadium on July 18, which is considered the final general rehearsal before entering ASEAN Cup 2026.
