Duc Giang Chemicals team accepted the invitation to participate in the 2025 Kovo Women's Volleyball Cup which will compete in Seoul (Korea).
A representative of the team's coaching staff said that the tournament took place from September 21 to September 28. Duc Giang Chemical Team will bring the best force to participate in the tournament with the goal of competing and accumulating experience.
The tournament brings together eight teams. In addition to the Duc Giang Chemicals team, the remaining seven representatives are Korean women's volleyball teams including Suwon Hyundai E&C Hillstate, Daejeon Jungkwanjang Red Sparks, GS Caltex Seoul KIXX, Hwaseong IBK Altos, Incheon Heungkuk Life Pink Spiders, Gimcheon Korea Expressway Hi- Pass, Gwangju Pepper Savings Bank AI PEPPERS.
In particular, the GS Caltex Seoul KIXX team is where striker Tran Thi Bich Thuy of Duc Giang Lao Cai Chemicals played at the beginning of this year.
Currently, head coach Nguyen Huu Ha and the Duc Giang Chemicals players are practicing professionally at Dong Anh Stadium (Hanoi).
The current runner-up team of Vietnam women's volleyball is currently practicing to prepare for the second phase of the 2025 National Volleyball Championship.
At the end of the first stage, the team temporarily ranked fifth. The opportunity for Duc Giang Chemicals to rise to the top group in the second stage of the tournament is still not over.
In the immediate future, the players will focus on competing in Korea and this is an opportunity for the coaching staff to check their expertise after the training period.
