In the late afternoon of June 26 at Rach Mieu Gymnasium (HCMC), the 2026 National Club Billiards & Snooker Tournament closed after the final matches.
This year, the tournament has attracted nearly 700 players with many top faces in pool, carom and snooker events competing for the highest achievements.
At the end of the tournament, the Ho Chi Minh City billiards team won 4 gold medals. In which, player Duong Quoc Hoang contributed 1 championship title in the men's 9-ball pool event.
Quoc Hoang defeated Bui Truong An (Bac Ninh) in the final to bring a gold medal to the Ho Chi Minh City billiards team.
The Ho Chi Minh City billiards team also has gold medals in the men's 1-band carom (player Nguyen Nhu Le), women's 9-ball pool (player Bui Xuan Vang), women's 3-band carom (player Nguyen Duc Yen Sinh).
Right after the Ho Chi Minh City billiards team is the Hanoi billiards team. In this year's Finals, the Hanoi billiards team has 2 championships.
In which, player Pham Hoai Nam won the men's snooker final against opponent Nguyen Nam Linh (from the same Hanoi team). The remaining gold medal belonged to player Ho Duc Thien in the British billiards event.
Also at the tournament, player Chau Hong Thai (Dong Nai) won a gold medal in the men's 3-stroke carom event when he defeated Nguyen Hoan Tat (HCMC) in the final.
In this event, player Bao Phuong Vinh (HCMC) only won a bronze medal.
Meanwhile, the men's 10 billiard pool final was a competition between Chu Viet Hoang (Bac Ninh) and Ho So Phat (HCMC). At the end of the competition, Viet Hoang won and received a gold medal.
