The 2026 World Cup billiards stage competition program in Turkey, for the 3-bar carom event, will be held from June 8 to June 14.
This year, the first two stages of the 2026 World Cup 3-band carom content took place in Bogota (Colombia) and Ho Chi Minh City respectively.
In the leg in Bogota (Colombia), the representative of Vietnam, player Tran Thanh Luc, won the runner-up title. In the recent leg in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnamese billiards with representative Chiem Hong Thai also won the runner-up title.
In addition to Tran Quyet Chien, the remaining 7 Vietnamese players expected to go to Türkiye to compete are Bao Phuong Vinh, Chiem Hong Thai, Nguyen Chi Long, Nguyen Hoan Tat, Pham Quoc Thuan, Nguyen Dinh Luan, and Tran Thanh Luc.
According to the World Billiards Federation, Tran Quyet Chien and Tran Thanh Luc are on the list of 14 players with the highest rankings in the world rankings, so they will participate in the main round. The remaining Vietnamese players will participate in each qualifying round to compete for a spot in the main round.
The qualifying matches will take place from June 8th to June 11th. Following that, the Organizing Committee determined that all 32 players will compete in the main round until June 14th.
The World Billiards Federation said that all top players in the 3-bar carom event are competing to find a chance to win the championship in Turkey.
