The number one player in Vietnam clearly received the attention of domestic audiences when facing Marco Spitzky (Germany). Duong Quoc Hoang entered the match confidently right after the match started. He made the team burst into tears with two consecutive weightlifting situations in the 4th game of the first set. This was a stepping stone for Quoc Hoang to win 4-2.
Stable form continued to be maintained by Hoang Sao in set 2. He won 4 games in a row to close the set with a final score of 2-0. With this victory, Duong Quoc Hoang will continue to the winning branch and will face thorsten Hohmann (Germany).
