According to Lao Dong, the Disciplinary Board of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) has decided to ban Technical Director Vu Tien Thanh of Hoang Anh Gia Lai club from performing duties for 4 matches. Mr. Thanh also had to pay a fine of 20 million VND.
In addition to Technical Director Vu Tien Thanh, Head of the Hoang Anh Gia Lai Club's delegation Nguyen Tan Anh was also suspended from duty for 3 matches and paid a fine of 15 million VND.
Both of them insulted the referee after Hoang Anh Gia Lai lost 0-1 to Ha Tinh in round 19 of V.League 2024-2025 at Pleiku Stadium on the evening of April 18.
