Entering the match, Than Khoang San Vietnam was rated slightly higher and soon controlled the game, creating continuous pressure on the opponent's goal. However, Hanoi II's defense played focused and disciplined, helping the Capital team stand firm in the first half, not conceding a goal despite facing a lot of pressure.

In the second half, Hanoi II suddenly had the opening goal. From free kick situations on the left wing, the Capital team increased significantly the pressure. In a defensive effort, player Bao Tram of Than Khoang San Vietnam unfortunately sent the ball into the net, helping Hanoi II take a 1-0 lead.
