In the final minutes, the two teams played fiercely but neither side took advantage of more opportunities, forcing the match to be decided by a penalty shootout.
From the 11m spot, both goalkeepers had important saves. However, Hanoi II was the more resilient team. Goalkeeper Hoai Thuong played excellently when successfully saving 2 shots from Than Khoang San Vietnam, making a great contribution to helping the home team win 4-3 in the shootout.
This result helped Hanoi II close the tournament in 5th place, while Than Khoang San Vietnam ranked 6th overall.
