According to Lao Dong, Mr. Pham Anh Tuan has resigned as head coach of Song Lam Nghe An club. This decision was made right after the Vinh Stadium team suffered a 0-1 defeat against Thanh Hoa in round 7 of LPBank V.League 2024-2025 on the evening of November 10.
The leadership of Song Lam Nghe An club also accepted this wish of coach Pham Anh Tuan.
Coach Pham Anh Tuan will lead Song Lam Nghe An from the end of the 2023-2024 season, replacing Mr. Phan Nhu Thuat.
Mr. Tuan helped the team compete successfully with 4 wins, 3 draws and only 2 losses. This achievement helped Song Lam Nghe An finish the season in 12th place and gain the right to stay in V.League.
Currently, Song Lam Nghe An has not yet decided who will take over the "hot seat" left by coach Pham Anh Tuan.
Song Lam Nghe An Club is having a rather slow start in the 2024-2025 V.League season. After the first 7 rounds, the Nghe An team only has 4 points after 4 draws and 3 losses. The loss to Thanh Hoa on November 10 caused Song Lam Nghe An to fall to the bottom of the rankings.
In round 8, the home team Vinh will visit Quang Nam on November 15.
