According to the original plan, the organizers planned to open direct ticket sales from 9:30 to 11:30 and in the afternoon from 15:30 to 19:00, or until tickets were sold out. However, at around 8am, the ticket counter started operating, nearly an hour earlier than the official announcement.

The early sale has caused many fans to be unable to buy tickets at the time of the initial announcement. Meanwhile, many people who were present early quickly gathered a large number, including "ticket brokers" operating around the stadium area.
Each person is allowed to buy a maximum of 4 tickets (2 pairs) according to the citizen identification card, at the price of 400,000 VND/ticket for stands A, B and 200,000 VND/ticket for stands C, D. However, some subjects have used many different identification cards or hired home buyers to increase the number of tickets they own.

After only about 30 minutes of opening for sale, the staff at the counter announced that all tickets were sold out in the morning, disappointing many fans. Some fans believe that the sudden change in opening hours has caused disadvantages for those who are far away or arranged the time according to the previously announced schedule.
After the tickets sold out, many people left the area in frustration, while some ticket brokers appeared to resell them at a higher price of 100,000200,000 VND/ticket, depending on the stands.
