The 2026 National Volleyball Championship Charter has been officially issued to prepare teams to compete.

The Vietnam Volleyball Federation officially issued the Charter of the 2026 National Championship, sent to the participating teams to grasp full information.

The tournament continues with 2 rounds. Each round will be played in a round-robin format. Round 1 will take place at Dong Anh Stadium (Hanoi) from April 6 to April 19, 2026.

Round 2 and the final round will be held in men's and women's categories. The women's event will be held at the Vinh Long Provincial Gymnasium from October 14 to October 25, 2026, while the men's event will take place from October 28 to November 8, at the Ho Chi Minh City Police Sports Center.

The 2026 National Championship Charter clearly states: Teams competing in the 2026 National Championship are allowed to transfer 2 foreign athletes (for the entire tournament or each round), not overlapping with foreign athletes competing for teams in the A-class tournament.

At any time, only 1 foreign athlete is allowed to compete on the field, if a foreign athlete is replaced by a libero athlete, it is considered a foreign athlete who is off the field. Procedures for hiring foreign athletes according to the Transfer Regulations of the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB)".

Thus, the 2026 National Championship still only allows 1 foreign player to play at any time. Before promulgating the Charter of the 2026 National Championship, the Vietnam Volleyball Federation consulted (in writing) on the registration of foreign players from the tournament's teams to complete the regulations based on professional practice.

The list of 16 teams participating in the 2026 National Championship includes Border Guard MB (reigning champion), The Cong Tan Cang, Ho Chi Minh City Police, LPBank Ninh Binh, Hanoi, Da Nang, Sanest Khanh Hoa, Ho Chi Minh City (men) and VTV Binh Dien Long An (reigning champion), LPBank Ninh Binh, Information Corps, Vietinbank, Duc Giang Chemicals, Long Son Thanh Hoa Cement, Geleximco Hung Yen, Hanoi (women).
