Tomorrow (February 19), Nam Dinh Steel Club will face Sanfrecce Hiroshima in the second leg of the 2024-2025 AFC Champions League Two round.
The Vietnamese representative is facing many challenges after losing 0-3 in the first leg against Sanfrecce Hiroshima. However, the head coach of this team, Mr. Vu Hong Viet, still aims to win right on the opponent's field.
Mr. Viet said at the pre-match press conference: "Our team encountered many difficulties when losing 0-3 in the first leg, but the whole team was still determined in the second leg. Our goal is still to win."
Regarding opponent Sanfrecce Hiroshima, coach Vu Hong Viet commented: "They have a good defense with 3 experienced and experienced central defenders with good expertise. I know they are all big centre-backs but I have to admit they are really classy. However, we have carefully studied their limitations to exploit them and achieve good results".
Similar to coach Vu Hong Viet, goalkeeper Tran Nguyen Manh of Nam Dinh Steel Blue, although aiming to achieve good results, also highly appreciated the class of Sanfrecce Hiroshima.
"The whole team is ready for tomorrow's match. Hiroshima was a strong opponent, the whole team played their best in the first leg, but the result was not as expected. We will do it again in the second leg and aim for a good result.
All of Hiroshima's lines are top players in Japan. Playing away is not easy but we have studied the opponent carefully. The whole team will defend well and try to score to win," Nguyen Manh shared.
The match between Nam Dinh Steel and Sanfrecce Hiroshima, the second leg of the 1/8 round of the AFC Champions League Two 2024-2025, will take place at 5:00 p.m. tomorrow (February 19).
