The 21km race attracted more than 5,000 athletes, including many professional runners who have achieved high results in domestic and international competitions.
Athletes compete on Tran Bach Dang Street (from R12 to N13) in Thu Thiem Ward of Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City.
In the men's 21km race, Hoang Nguyen Thanh finished first after 1 hour, 12 minutes and 30 seconds. He was far ahead of the two athletes behind, Ly Nhan Tin (1:44-8 seconds) and Huynh Anh Khoi (1:44-54 seconds).
However, Nguyen Thanh's achievements could not help him break the national record set by the organizing committee.
On the women's 21km race, former SEA Games champion Pham Thi Hong Le won the final, when finishing with a time of 1:61 second, while Le Thi Kha Ly (1 time, 26 minutes, 3 seconds) came in second, while Nguyen Thi Thu Ha (1 time, 27 minutes, 48 seconds) came in third.

Run To Live - The second Run for Life in 2025 takes place on March 7, 8 and 9. The event was jointly organized by Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper, the Department of Culture - Sports of Ho Chi Minh City, the Management Board of Ho Chi Minh City Urban Area Development and Miracle Entertainment Group Company.
The tournament attracted 10,000 amateur and professional athletes, as well as the running community, who have participated in regular training and competition in Ho Chi Minh City and across the country in distances of 5km, 10km and 21km.

In addition to the goal of creating a large-scale, high-quality professional sports tournament for amateur and professional athletes to compete and improve their skills, the second Run To Live in 2025 is also considered one of the important events towards the 50th anniversary of the complete Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).
The tournament also demonstrates responsibility to the community through supporting the talented sports athlete development fund of the Ho Chi Minh City Sports and Physical Training Department.
