After the end of the first phase of the 2025 National Volleyball Championship, the 4 best men's and 4 women's clubs will compete in the Hung Vuong Cup 2025, which is part of the official tournament system of the Vietnam Volleyball Federation.
This is an annual tournament hosted by Phu Tho province, part of a series of activities such as Hung Vuong Commemoration Ceremony and the Vietnam Culture - Tourism Week - At Ty Year 2025...
In addition, the tournament is also a playground for teams and athletes who have the opportunity to compete in the top tournament; evaluate and select excellent athletes for the national team.
This year, the Hung Vuong Cup will start from April 3 to 6 at the Phu Tho Province Sports and Physical Training and Competition District (Viet Tri City, Phu Tho).
Based on the national championship rankings, 4 women's teams will compete in the Information Corps, LPB Ninh Binh, VTV Binh Dien Long An and Vietinbank. Meanwhile, the 4 participating men's teams are Border Guard, Ho Chi Minh City Police, The Cong Tan Cang and Da Nang.
According to the regulations, each team is allowed to register 10 - 14 athletes. Notably, the teams do not limit the transfer of athletes, including domestic and foreign players. This is a favorable point to help coaches calculate personnel, contributing to creating attractive competitions.
In addition, this year's Hung Vuong Cup continues to use the Challenger Eyes Video system; install an LED screen in stand D to best support the match organization.
Another highlight is that 2025 is the first year that the Hung Vuong Cup volleyball tournament is sponsored by participating businesses with the desire to contribute to gradually raising the tournament to international level. Therefore, the value of the awards is increased by 3-5 times; the support budget for the teams is also increased by 2 times compared to last year.
The organizing committee of the Hung Vuong Cup 2025 volleyball tournament will open ticket sales from 8:00 a.m. on March 31, 2025 until tickets are sold according to the number of tickets issued (open for sale during office hours).
