The world's most attractive female striker reunites with Aston Villa star

Alisha Lehmann - a charming female striker is joining the Aston Villa women's team.

Alisha Lehmann seems to have returned to Premier League star Douglas Luiz, after she shared photos of them together on New Year's Eve.

SunSport revealed in November that the couple - who played for Aston Villa's women's and men's teams - broke up after a year of dating.

The reason for their breakup was the heated controversy over the schedule announced by Lehmann in September.

But it seems that their affection for each other has been renewed when Lehmann posted photos taken together during the festival.

On Monday, the Swiss striker brought fans some photos of the New Year's Eve party she attended - where she took photos with her loved ones and many white balloons.

And in some photos is midfielder Luiz.

In a frame, they looked at each other's eyes while smiling. In another photo, Luiz places his hand around Lehmann's waist.

Lehmann added the caption: "Happy New Year 2024 (with the fireworks and heart symbol)".

And Luiz replied, "I love you (also attached a heart photo)".

Lehmann's Instagram page has 16 million followers.

In early 2022, Lehmann left the penthouse apartment he rented to move to Luiz's £1.5 million 5-bedroom house in Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham.

Lehmann, who also played for West Ham and Everton on loan, has previously had a relationship with his Swiss teammate Ramona Bachmann.

She has scored 12 goals in 62 appearances for the Villa women's team - the team ranked 9th in the Women's Super League.

Meanwhile, Luiz had an impressive season under Unai Emery, contributing 7 goals and 5 assists after 28 matches - including the goal to seal a 3-2 victory over Burnley on December 30.

The Midlands club is flying high in 2nd place in the Premier League rankings, only 3 points behind leaders Liverpool.

They have also reached the round of 16 of the Europa Conference League.
