Latest tournament in VnExpress marathon system
VnExpress marathon Volvo All -Star - a tournament for two semi -marathons (21km) and marathon (42km) - will officially take place on April 20, in Hoa Lac High -Tech Park (Hanoi), with the participation of nearly 2,000 domestic and foreign athletes.
This is the latest tournament in the VnExpress marathon system. For the first time in Vietnam, to participate in the tournament, the athletes will have to review the input achievement.
Accordingly, the male athletes must have the results of the previous competitions below 4:00 for 42km distance, less than 2:00 am for 21km. This standard for women is below 5:00 and under 2:30.
Information about the run at the press conference this afternoon (15.4), the representative of the Organizing Committee said that the entire road of this tournament was completely 100%, asphalt surface with many long straight lines, almost no steep.
The run has only 9 bends, only one spot for both 42km and 21km distances, the total height is about 100m up and 100m down.
On the run, the water stations are arranged 1.8 km apart, the first station is arranged from km 2. From km 16 to 34 the frequency of water stations increases, supporting the athletes to maintain physical strength.
According to BTC, 10 medical stations and mobile medical vehicles, ambulances will be arranged along the track, ready to support athletes when needed. The tournament has the support of more than 200 crew (from the support group of the runner in a long race - PV), more than 700 volunteers, and the forces of doctors and police officers up to more than 200 people.

The prize structure "terrible"
According to the announcement of the organizers, the prize structure is a special feature of this year's tournament with a total cash value of up to 700 million. Accordingly, the final prize received cash to 100 million VND, the next prizes were 50, 40, 30 and 20 million respectively.
Particularly for age categories, BTC decided to divide by 4 age groups, each age group honored the top 3 male/female athletes with good achievements. The athletes of the ages will receive the Cup honor from the BTC.
Similar to the VnExpress marathon systems, the athletes will receive a medal and finisher after completing the race track in accordance with the regulations.
The tournament schedule takes place in 2 days, from 19.4 - 20.4.2025. On the official racing day (20.4), the full marathon (42km) departing at 05:00, 30 minutes then the 21km distance officially conquered the race.
The athletes of both distance will come from the National Innovation Center (Hoa Lac Hi -Tech Park, Thach That District, Hanoi), passing the National Highway 21, Road E of FPT Hanoi University, the inter -technology roads of Hoa Lac, inter -commune roads ... before the finish line in front of Hoa Lac FPT Software.
