The VTV Cup 2025 final ended with a 3-2 victory for Korabelka, thereby winning the championship for the second consecutive time.
This was a rather regrettable match for the Vietnam women's volleyball team. Thanh Thuy and her teammates lost the first 2 sets, but then won the 3rd and 4th sets to equalize the score.
In set 5, there was a time when the home team took a 3-point lead, but the players could not maintain stability and accepted a narrow defeat of 18-20,
Meanwhile, in the third-place match, Taiwan (China) beat the Philippines with a score of 3-0. The Southeast Asian representative could not make it into the top 3 finalists.
In addition, the U21 Vietnam team regrettably lost 1-3 to U21 Thailand, thereby finishing in 6th place, while the team from the land of the Golden Temple was ranked 5th.
Finally, in the 7th place match, the Four Forces (China) easily defeated Australia with a score of 3-0.
