Despite saying goodbye to the national women's football team, this experienced player has maintained a stable performance, being a professional and spiritual support for her teammates in the futsal arena.
In the 33rd SEA Games women's futsal final, Thuy Trang and the Vietnam women's futsal team won convincingly 5-0 against Indonesia. This result helped the team win the SEA Games gold medal for the first time, after 5 consecutive editions of only winning silver medals in 2007, 2011, 2013, 2017 and 2021.
The 33rd SEA Games gold medal not only has historical significance for Vietnamese women's futsal, but also marks a special milestone in Thuy Trang's career. Previously, she became the first player to win the Southeast Asian championship in both the national women's football team and the Vietnam women's futsal team. With this SEA Games title, Thuy Trang continues to make history in the region as the first player to win the SEA Games in both women's football at the 11-a-side and futsal.
Throughout her career, Thuy Trang has won many titles from the Southeast Asian Games, SEA Games to domestic tournaments. She also contributed greatly to the period of dominating the national championship of the Ho Chi Minh City Women's Club, thereby building a huge collection of achievements, clearly reflecting her rare talent, bravery and perseverance.
Not stopping there, Thuy Trang continues her journey to the top. Currently, she and the HCMC women's club have participated in the quarter-finals of the Asian Women's Cup C1 for the second consecutive time, showing that their desire to contribute and their professional competitive spirit are still intact.
