Good news for fans of Tran Thi Thanh Thuy is that this main attacker is expected to be present in Dong Anh (Hanoi) on April 14.
VTV Binh Dien Long An team has announced that main attacker Tran Thi Thanh Thuy will return home early after finishing playing with Gunma Green Wings at the Japanese Volleyball Championship. She and Gunma Green Wings lost the quarter-final match in Japan, so Thanh Thuy soon ended her professional program in Japan.
Returning to Vietnam, Thanh Thuy is expected to be prepared to play the last 2 matches of the VTV Binh Dien Long An team in the first round of this year's tournament. The matches will take place on April 16 (against Hanoi) and April 18 (against Binh Chung Thong Tin).
Tran Thi Thanh Thuy is currently a top player in Vietnamese women's volleyball. She won the national championship with VTV Binh Dien Long An team in 2024. Last year, Tran Thi Thanh Thuy only competed in phase 1 of the 2025 National Championship and phase 2 went to Japan.
Thus, VTV Binh Dien Long An team officially has enough 14 players according to the registered list to participate in round 1 of the 2026 National Club Championship. Thanh Thuy is also the latest player to participate in this year's tournament.
After round 1 of the 2026 National Club Championship, 4 men's teams and 4 women's teams with the best results will win tickets to participate in the Hung Vuong Cup 2026 in Phu Tho.
