On the afternoon of August 29, Truong Tuoi Dong Nai club held a send-off ceremony to participate in the 2026-2027 season at the multi-purpose gymnasium of Dong Nai city, with the theme "Dong Nai city welcomes V.League - Bringing Dong Nai spirit to reach out".
The ceremony was attended by leaders of Dong Nai city and representatives of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), showing concern for the team in the first season participating in the highest playground of Vietnamese football.

In the 2025-2026 season, Truong Tuoi Dong Nai won the First Division championship for the first time, thereby winning the right to play in the V.League 2026-2027. This is an important milestone in the team's development process.
To prepare for the new season, Truong Tuoi Dong Nai has strengthened its forces, including players who have played in the V.League and foreign players. The team also underwent training and friendly matches with quality opponents to improve competitiveness.

Coach Nguyen Viet Thang admitted that V.League will bring greater challenges than the First Division, but the whole team is excited before the special season.
“We are very honored and proud to be present in the V.League. We are also excited and looking forward to seeing what we can do in the V.League. With the attention and investment of the club's leaders and Dong Nai city, we believe we will create a season worth watching,” coach Nguyen Viet Thang shared.

Striker Nguyen Cong Phuong, captain of Truong Tuoi Dong Nai, is the one who raised the flag to start the team. He said that the whole team will strive to score points through each match to aim for the best results.
We also have many players who have played in the V.League, quality foreign players to be confident that they can play well in the upcoming V.League," Cong Phuong said.
With the strength added and the preparation in the past time, Truong Tuoi Dong Nai expects to be able to make a mark in the first season of V.League 2026-2027.
