After closing the group stage with second place in Group D, the Vietnam U18 women's volleyball team will enter an important match in the quarter-finals when facing the reigning champion U18 China.
This is considered the biggest challenge for coach Nguyen Thi Ngoc Hoa and her students since the beginning of the tournament. U18 China continues to show the position of one of the leading youth volleyball nations in the continent when winning all matches in the group stage and winning the right to continue with convincing achievements.
Not only possessing a fast playing style and diverse attacking organization, U18 China also has a significant advantage in physique. They have an average height of about 1.86m, the tallest in the tournament, creating a great advantage in blocking and attacking situations on the net.
On the side of U18 Vietnam, participating in the quarter-finals is considered a positive result. The confrontation with U18 China will be an opportunity for young Vietnamese players to accumulate more international competition experience, and at the same time test their ability against one of the strongest opponents in the region.
