Phase 2 of the 2025 National Volleyball Championship will take place from October 10 to October 19 at Ninh Binh Provincial Gymnasium. Currently, clubs are still actively practicing to prepare for the important phase of the season.
With the Information Corps club - Dong Tay Bac province, coach Pham Van Long will add personnel in phase 2. Accordingly, middle blocker Bui Thi Nga has returned to professional training with the same team. She will be one of the plans prepared to participate in phase 2 in Ninh Binh.
Before that, Bui Thi Nga had practiced and was expected to participate in phase 1. However, due to not being physically fit, she could not participate in the first stage. In the past time, coach Pham Van Long and his colleagues have prepared for this middle blocker to have the physical strength to ensure.
Thus, it is likely that Bui Thi Nga will be registered to compete in phase 2 with the Information Corps - Dong Bac TCT women's team.
Bui Thi Nga once shared: "When I stop playing, I miss the feeling of standing on the soccer field, practicing with my teammates and every time I leave the field, the audience always follows me. If the club requires me, I am always ready to return to play volleyball."
Bui Thi Nga was born in 1994 in Ninh Binh. With a height of 1m86, possessing a high-altitude playing style and good blocking, this middle blocker is always a prominent name of the national women's volleyball team when competing at the top. The former Ninh Binh-born hitter has also been an excellent middle blocker for many years of Vietnamese women's volleyball.
She was with the national team to win 6th place at the 2018 ASIAD; 3 silver medals at the 2013, 2015, 2019 SEA Games and a bronze medal in 2017...
At the club level, Bui Thi Nga also kept an irreplaceable position in the first team of the Information Corps club when she was still playing. In 11 seasons with the army team in the national championship, the middle blocker born in 1994 contributed to 7 championships and 3 runner-up positions. She also plays a very important role in many of the club's achievements in other tournaments.
In 2022, Bui Thi Nga got married in a flower car and moved into the same house with her husband Xuan Hoang. In early 2023, the female player from Ninh Binh announced her retirement at the age of 29 and switched to coaching in the Information Corps team.
The last time the army team entered the final of the national volleyball championship and won the championship was in 2021. At that time, middle blocker Bui Thi Nga was present in the squad of her home team.
Her return to training makes fans expect the former Vietnamese women's volleyball player to help the Information Corps - Dong Bac Command team achieve good results this season.
