The Vietnam women's volleyball team and player Bich Tuyen received a bonus after being the runner-up of the VTV Cup 2025.

The Vietnamese women's volleyball team unfortunately dropped a victory in the VTV Cup 2025 final. Thanh Thuy and her teammates lost the first 2 sets, but then tried to equalize 2-2.

However, in set 5, Vietnam ran out of steam in the final stage and let their opponent pass with a score of 20-18, thereby only winning the runner-up position in this year's tournament.

However, this is still an encouraging achievement for the Vietnamese women's volleyball team when the players tried their best to compete until the last minute.

With the position of VTV Cup 2025 Runner-up, coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet and his team received a bonus of 7,000 USD (about 183 million VND) from the organizing committee. In addition, the Vietnam Volleyball Federation also gave a bonus of 100 million VND.

Mr. Le Van Kiem - Vice President of the Vietnam Olympic Committee decided to award 100 million VND to the national team and individual Nguyen Thi Bich Tuyen 100 million VND.

In addition, after an impressive performance in the final with 47 points scored, Bich Tuyen also received a bonus of 20 million VND from Mr. Dang Xuan Phong - Secretary of Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee.

At the same time, with the VTV Cup Best Opposite Setter award, the female player born in 2000 also received an additional bonus of 300 USD (nearly 8 million VND) from the tournament organizing committee.

Thus, the bonus that the Vietnamese women's volleyball team received was more than 383 million VND and Bich Tuyen alone received nearly 128 million VND.
