According to some sources, recently, the Vietnam Volleyball Federation received an email from the Indonesian National Volleyball Championship, regarding the invitation for Nguyen Thi Bich Tuyen to compete in the upcoming 2025 season.
Previously, there were some international teams interested in Bich Tuyen, but this is the first official invitation to go abroad for the 2000-born player. The captain of the Vietnamese women's volleyball team has the opportunity to go abroad to compete like her senior Tran Thi Thanh Thuy.
At the time of competing in SEA V.League (August 2024), Bich Tuyen once shared: "I already have a home team in Vietnam. However, if there is a good opportunity to join a foreign team, I also want to prove myself once and in the most complete way."
At that time, Mr. Azamat Esimov - head coach of Kuanysh club (Kazakhstan) - paid attention to Bich Tuyen. He said that with her current level, Bich Tuyen could easily receive an attractive salary of about 200 million VND/month if she played for Kuanysh club in the national championship of this country.
Regarding the 24-year-old player's departure abroad, the head coach of the Vietnamese national team - Nguyen Tuan Kiet - once shared with Lao Dong: "If Bich Tuyen goes abroad to compete, it will be a step forward in this player's career. However, I personally do not advise Tuyen to compete in Kazakhstan.
Because, at the club in Vietnam, Tuyen has only played in a perfect attacking style. If I were to give her advice, I would advise her to go play in volleyball countries like Japan, Korea, Thailand or Taiwan (China). There, Tuyen will be able to perfect more aspects.
The playing style of the teams I just mentioned is diverse and flexible, so it will help Bich Tuyen a lot. When going abroad, money will be a problem, but I think Bich Tuyen will have to make her own choice."
Currently, Bich Tuyen is preparing with LPB Ninh Binh club for phase 2 of the 2024 national volleyball championship, taking place in early November.
Not long ago, the ancient capital team excellently won the runner-up position in the 2024 Asian Club Volleyball Championship. This achievement helped Bich Tuyen and her teammates participate in the world championship in December.
