On the morning of April 12, U15 Vietnam women's team had a match against U15 NSW women's team (New South Wales) Sky. Despite playing hard and creating some notable opportunities, coach Nguyen Mai Lan's students could not take advantage of them successfully, thereby accepting defeat with a score of 0-4.
Right from the first minutes, the home team showed proactiveness in their play. In the 3rd minute, U15 NSW Sky women's team organized an attack on the wing, the diagonal shot hit the post before the opponent's player rushed in to volley close range, opening the score 1-0.
In the remainder of the first half, the two teams created some more notable situations but no more goals were scored. In the 29th minute, U15 Vietnam women's team had a chance to equalize when Ma Ngoc Anh escaped down the left wing, entered the penalty area and passed to Ngoc Lan. However, the shot of the player wearing number 4 went over the crossbar. The first half closed with a 1-0 advantage in favor of U15 NSW Sky women's team.

In the second half, the Australian team continued to increase pressure. In the 40th minute, from a direct free kick on the right wing, U15 NSW Sky women's team coordinated in one touch and increased the score to 2-0. In the 45th minute, they took advantage of a cross in the midfield area to organize a quick counter-attack, thereby scoring the third goal.
In the 54th minute, U15 NSW Sky women's team continued to effectively exploit the touchline. Although the U15 Vietnam women's team's defense made efforts to block, the opponent still took advantage of the second ball situation to seal a 4-0 victory.
Although not achieving the desired results, the match is considered an important opportunity to help Vietnam U15 women's team accumulate experience and improve their expertise in the process of preparing for international tournaments.
After the first 3 matches, Vietnam U15 women's team is temporarily ranked third in the rankings. The team will meet Queensland U15 women's team (ranked second) in the next match taking place in the afternoon of the same day, April 12.
