The match was held at Home of the Matildas, taking place in 60 minutes (30 minutes each half). Right from the first minutes, U15 Vietnam women's team entered the game confidently, proactively controlled the game and created many notable attacking situations towards the opponent's goal.
In the 20th minute, from a favorable through ball from a teammate, Ma Ngoc Anh escaped and finished accurately, opening the score for U15 Vietnam women's team. However, just 3 minutes later, the home team quickly brought the match back to balance after a fierce contest in the midfield area before organizing an effective counter-attack to score a 1-1 equalizer.
In the remaining time, U15 Vietnam women's team continued to maintain a proactive game, organized many attacks and created some more dangerous opportunities. However, the coaching staff's students could not successfully take advantage to increase the gap.
In the end, the two teams drew 1-1. This result helps U15 Vietnam women's team have more important international competition experiences, thereby accumulating expertise and completing the squad in the process of preparing successor forces for Vietnamese women's football.
