Update on gasoline and oil prices on July 10th: World oil prices simultaneously reversed to decrease in Friday's trading session.

At 3:08 PM on July 10, 2026, WTI oil price was at 71.25 USD/barrel, down 0.83 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 1.15%. Brent oil was at 75.41 USD/barrel, down 0.89 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 1.17%.

World oil price movements decreased slightly in the trading session on July 10. Oil prices are still supported by geopolitical tensions in the Middle East, but the increase is limited due to the risk of supply disruption not spreading to energy infrastructure and concerns about global demand prospects. In the short term, the developments of the US-Iran conflict will continue to be a factor dominating the market.

According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the world gasoline and oil market in this operating period is affected by key factors such as: the US and Iran continue to retaliate against each other; some oil tankers continue to be attacked in the Strait of Hormuz; OPEC+ agreed to increase oil production from August; military conflict between Russia and Ukraine continues, Ukraine focuses on attacking Russian oil refineries; Russia bans diesel oil exports... The above factors have caused world finished gasoline and oil prices in recent days to increase and decrease depending on each item.

In the operating period on July 10, domestic gasoline and oil prices fluctuated as follows:

- E5 RON92 gasoline: not higher than 19,191 VND/liter (down 539 VND/liter compared to the current maximum selling price), lower than E10 RON95-III gasoline by 812 VND/liter;

- E10 RON95-III gasoline: not higher than 20,003 VND/liter (down 412 VND/liter compared to the current maximum selling price);

- Diesel oil 0.05S: not higher than 21,745 VND/liter (an increase of 569 VND/liter compared to the current maximum selling price);

- 180CST 3.5S mazut oil: not higher than 13,735 VND/kg (down 318 VND/kg compared to the current maximum selling price).

Gasoline and oil selling prices of neighboring countries of Vietnam on July 9, 2026:

- Regarding gasoline prices: Thailand: 27,678 VND/liter (Government subsidies); Cambodia: 25,738 VND/liter (Government subsidies); Laos: 35,688 VND/liter; China: 29,175 VND/liter (Government price control); Vietnam: 20,003 VND/liter.

- Regarding oil prices: Thailand: 27,678 VND/liter (Government subsidies); Cambodia: 26,715 VND/liter; Laos: 30,480 VND/liter; China: 26,234 VND/liter (Government price control); Vietnam: 21,745 VND/liter.

Vietnam's gasoline and oil prices are currently lower than those of countries sharing a common border.
