Update on gasoline and oil prices on September 7: At 6:00 PM, world oil prices simultaneously increased

At 6:00 PM, world oil prices simultaneously increased. WTI oil price was at 92.26 USD/barrel, up 0.78 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 0.85%. Brent oil was at 97.04 USD/barrel, up 0.76 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 0.79%.

World oil prices simultaneously increased in the first trading session of the week, extending the strong increase of the previous week. Currently, the upward trend still prevails as US-Iran tensions escalate and oil transportation through Hormuz has not recovered. The fact that oil tankers become direct targets further increases the risk of supply disruption.

According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the world gasoline and oil market in this operating period is affected by key factors such as: the US and Iran continue military attacks against each other; the US Federal Reserve is likely to raise interest rates by the end of this year to curb inflation; military conflict between Russia and Ukraine continues, continuing to focus heavily on energy facilities, oil refineries... The above factors have caused world finished gasoline and oil prices in recent days to fluctuate upwards and downwards depending on the item.

For the domestic market, representatives of gasoline and oil businesses predict that gasoline and oil prices in this week's price adjustment period may increase. The increase will also depend on the spending of the price stabilization fund.

The selling prices of popular consumer gasoline and oil items in the domestic market in the operating period on September 7 are as follows:
