Domestic rice prices today (January 23) recorded little change in the Mekong Delta. Prices of all types of rice were relatively stable, fresh rice prices remained stable compared to yesterday.
According to data from the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of An Giang province, the current price of IR 50404 rice (fresh) fluctuates at 5,500 - 5,700 VND/kg; OM 5451 rice fluctuates at 5,800 - 6,000 VND; OM 18 rice (fresh) fluctuates at 7,600 - 7,800 VND/kg; Dai Thom 8 rice (fresh) fluctuates at 7,600 - 7,800 VND; OM 380 rice is at 6,600 - 6,700 VND/kg; Nhat rice is at 7,800 - 8,000 VND/kg; Nang Hoa 9 is at 9,200 VND/kg.
Raw rice IR 504 fluctuates at 7,500 - 7,700 VND/kg; finished rice IR 504 fluctuates at 9,500 - 9,700 VND/kg; raw rice OM 380 fluctuates at 7,300 - 7,500 VND/kg; finished rice OM 380 fluctuates at 8,800 - 9,000 VND/kg.
At supermarkets, rice prices are quite stable. Recorded at GO supermarket (Long Bien district, Hanoi), on January 23, 2025, rice prices are still stable. Of which, ST25 rice 5kg is priced at 185,000 VND/bag; Japonica rice 5kg is priced at 137,000 VND/bag; ST25 rice shrimp rice 5kg is priced at 229,9000 VND/bag.

In the export market, Vietnam's rice export prices today remained unchanged compared to yesterday. According to the Vietnam Food Association (VFA), currently 5% standard rice is at 417 USD/ton; 25% broken rice is at 390 USD/ton; 100% broken rice is at 322 USD/ton.
