Retail gas prices by region
Gas prices today, July 1st, recorded a sharp reduction across the country right on the first day of the month, ending the prolonged price increase streak before. This development takes place in the context of world LPG prices cooling down, helping the retail gas price level in the country decrease sharply in most regions.
In the North, gas prices in Hanoi decreased by 76,464 VND for 12kg cylinders, down to 502,200 VND. For 48kg industrial cylinders, the price decreased by 305,856 VND, to 2,008,800 VND. In Hai Phong, 12kg gas cylinders decreased by 88,776 VND to 489,888 VND, while 48kg cylinders decreased by 391,992 VND, to 1,959,552 VND.
In the Central region, the Da Nang market also recorded a significant decrease. Currently, a 12kg gas cylinder is listed at 483,000 VND, down 84,000 VND compared to the previous month. The price of a 48kg cylinder decreased by 309,000 VND, down to 1,874,000 VND.
In the South, gas prices in Ho Chi Minh City decreased by 70,000 VND for 12kg cylinders, to 522,000 VND, while 48kg cylinders decreased by 280,000 VND, to 2,084,000 VND. In Can Tho, the price of 12kg cylinders is currently at 485,000 VND and 48kg cylinders are 1,940,000 VND, both down 70,000 VND and 280,000 VND compared to the previous period.
According to records, the adjustment in early July has sharply reduced retail gas prices nationwide. The common reduction ranges from 70,000 - 88,776 VND for 12kg cylinders and from 280,000 - 391,992 VND for 48kg cylinders, contributing to reducing the living costs of people and input costs of many gas-using businesses.

Retail gas prices by brand
Gas prices today, July 1st, according to major brands, recorded a strong downward trend when entering the new price adjustment period of July. After a period of high gas prices due to fluctuations in the world energy market, many businesses have reduced retail prices, bringing the domestic gas price level down significantly.
At the Petrolimex system in Hanoi, the price of a 12kg gas cylinder decreased by 76,464 VND, down to 502,200 VND. For the 48kg industrial cylinder line, the price decreased by 305,856 VND, to 2,008,800 VND.
SAIGON PETRO also adjusted down sharply. Currently, a 12kg gas cylinder is listed at 556,500 VND, down 71,000 VND compared to the previous period. The price of a 45kg cylinder decreased by 266,500 VND, down to 2,087,500 VND.
Pacific Petro has not yet announced the new price list for July. Therefore, the enterprise is still applying the latest announced price, with a 12kg gas cylinder at 682,000 VND and a 45kg cylinder at 2,528,000 VND.
Meanwhile, PV GAS also simultaneously reduced prices in two major markets. In Hanoi, the price of a 12kg gas cylinder decreased by 72,000 VND, down to 538,204 VND; a 45kg cylinder decreased by 270,000 VND, down to 2,018,265 VND. In Ho Chi Minh City, the price of a 12kg cylinder decreased by 70,000 VND, down to 602,081 VND, and a 45kg cylinder decreased by 262,485 VND, down to 2,257,789 VND.
According to records, the adjustment in early July has caused the domestic gas price level to decrease sharply after many months of being at a high level. However, because Pacific Petro has not announced the new price list, the price levels between brands are currently clearly different, while Petrolimex, SAIGON PETRO and PV GAS have simultaneously adjusted down significantly.
